Today's Lunch: Popcorn Chicken, Tri-Taters,, Peas, Salad Bar, and Milk.
Tomorrow's Lunch: Hot Beef Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • We are running on a  2:30 dismissal schedule for In-Service today.  Today will be the LAST early out Wednesday of the school year.
  • The sign up sheet for "Out of MHS" guests for Prom is at the high school office.  If you are bringing a guest who is not currently a student at MHS please register them as soon as possible.
  • Prom pictures for individuals,couples, or small groups will begin at 3:00 on April 27. Picture packets for Prom are available at the high school office.
  • Promenade begins at 5:00 Saturday.  The dance is from 8:00-Midnight and After Prom begins at 12:30 am.
  • Softball players are selling keychains and necklaces attached for $10.  See the poster on the front office window.  Any of the girls would be happy to help take your order. Money due at time of order.
  • The FFA are selling plants from their own greenhouse.  Stop by and check out their selections.  Support your FFA.
  • Seniors next week you will be getting your check out sheets for the final time! CONGRATULATIONS!!  The following seniors have books checked out and will need to be returned before I can sign your paper.  Logan, Cole, Brady, Cheyenne, Alexis, George, Kalanna. Please locate them and return them to me ASAP.  - Trish

  • MID TERM for Honor Study Hall List Update is Thursday, April 18 after school
  • School will run on 2:30 dismissal on Thursday.  There will be no school on Friday or the following Monday.  See you back on Tuesday April 23rd.

  • Seniors- Jostens will be here on Tuesday April 16th to deliver your Cap/Gown.  Please make sure you get them out of the packaging and allow the wrinkles to hang out of them before Graduation.  If you do NOT have your items paid in full you MUST bring a check in order to receive your items.

Today's Lunch: Chicken Fajitas, Rice, Sugar Snap Snow Peas, Salad Bar, and Milk.
Tomorrow's Lunch:  Mr. Rib, Cheesy Potatoes, Corn, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • School will be dismissed today at 2:30 for Staff Development.
  • Students who normally eat 2nd lunch hour that are planning on attending the Strickler funeral today- You will eat 1st lunch, at 12:00 go to your 5th hour class, 12:15 to your Advisory and at 12:30 report to the hs office to ride the bus/walk/drive to the funeral.
  • Seniors- Jostens will be here on Tuesday April 16th to deliver your Cap/Gown.  Please make sure you get them out of the packaging and allow the wrinkles to hang out of them before Graduation.
  • All students leaving today at 1:00 MUST have permission from a parent or guardian to leave.  You will not be allowed to leave without permission.  You MUST leave through the HS Office so your name can be checked off of the list.

Today's Lunch: Chicken Wraps, Potato Wedges, Glaze Carrots, Salad Bar, and Milk.
Tomorrow's Lunch:  Walking Taco, Corn, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • Sign up with Ms. Eyheralde or Hunter Arbogast to donate blood on April 8, 2019.  You must be 16 years old with a parent's consent form and weigh at lest 120 pounds.  See Hunter or or Ms Eyheralde for more information.
  • Seniors- Jostens will be here on Tuesday April 16th to deliver your Cap/Gown.  Please make sure you get them out of the packaging and allow the wrinkles to hang out of them before Graduation.
  • Students wishing to attend the funeral on Wednesday need to sign up at the office.  We will be walking or taking a bus to the funeral.

  • Tomorrow IS NOT Mid-Term.  HOWEVER, Monday will be when we pull the grades for the new In-Eligibility Policy to begin the weekly in-eligibility.  Please make sure you have all of your assignments up to date and keep them up to date from here on until the end of the 4th Qtr.

    n Wednesday, April 3rd, six students competed at the annual Bluegrass Conference math competition at Orient-Macksburg. In Algebra I, Elizabeth Cremeens and Morgan Hawk competed. In Geometry, Anaya Keith and Andrew Harrington competed. In Precalculus/Math IV, Mikayla Fritz and Beth Foglesong competed. Moravia had no Algebra II competitors this year. Students took an hour-long test and then competed in Math Jeopardy.  
    Elizabeth Cremeens earned first place in the Algebra I category, scoring higher than all other Bluegrass Conference Algebra I competitors!  (In the attachment): Here are the competitors eating some well-earned ice cream in Osceola after the competition. Congratulations to all of Moravia's competitors!
  • Prom t-shirts are for sale.  See Ms.J to order by April 3.  $12 each for sizes XS-XL; $14 for XXL.
