Today's Lunch: Sausage Pizza, Cottage Cheese, Corn, Salad Bar, and Milk.
Tomorrow's Lunch:  Beef Burger/Bun, French Fries, Glazed Carrots, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • Brain Bowl practice next Tuesday after school today.
  • Any HS boy interested in track- practice will begin Monday at 4:00.
  • If you are interested in Summer Drivers Ed, please sign up at the front office so we can get a count on how many classes we will need and their start date.  Please sign up as soon as possible with your name and Permit Number.
  • The jazz band will travel to Woodward-Granger Friday to compete in the Jim Oates Jazz Festival.  The group plays at 11:20.  Good Luck!
  • Keith West Magic Show Fundraiser, Hosted by the class of 2021.  Location: Moravia old gym, When: Saturday, March 4th @ 7:00, Cost: All tickets are $10 for students in Pre-kindergarten and above.  You can purchase tickets from any student in the 8th grade class or buy tickets at the door.  Question: Contact Denny Whitlow @ 641-895-4643.

  • The Moravia Band (grades 5-11) will be conducting their annual 4 Seasons frozen food fund raiser  Feb. 21 - March 7.  Delivery of items will be the week of March 30. The students will also be selling items from a Spring gift brochure.  Popular food items are frozen pizza, garlic cheese bread, cookie dough and new this year is no bake Incredible dough, no bake cookie dough bites (no bake) ready to eat!  If you are interested to see the brochures, please see Mrs. Nelson and she will tell a band student to talk to you.  Proceeds will go toward the trip of 2018.  thank you for your support!
  • Just a reminder that the Variety Show is on March 18th. We still need acts for this show. This years theme is the Oscars. Please see Mr. Richardson to sign up. We need to have all the talent finalized soon so please sign up right away.

  • Congratulations to the Jazz Band for placing 2nd in class 1A at the Indianola Jazz/Show Choir Encounter on Saturday.  St. Edmond's of Fort Dodge placed 1st and Lamoni placed 3rd.  Belle Plaine also participated.  Emily Johnson, tenor sax and Cayleigh Whitlow, trumpet, received Oustanding Soloists certificates!  The jazz band will travel to Woodward-Granger Friday to compete in the Jim Oates Jazz Festival.  The group plays at 11:20.  Good Luck!

  • Congratulations to the Jazz Band for placing 2nd in class 1A at the Southeast Polk Jazz Fest on Saturday.  Chrystal Albertson and Colton Naill received Outstanding Soloist Certificates.  North Mahaska placed 1st and Moulton-Udell placed 3rd in 1A.  The jazz band will travel to Indianola to compete in the Jazz Band Encounter.  The band performs at 1:50 in the high school auditorium.  Admission is $10.00.
