Today's Lunch:  Tuna Noodle Casserole, Peas, Bread Sticks, Salad Bar, and Milk.
Tomorrow's Lunch:  Meatball Sub, Roasted Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the Moravia 6, 7, and 8th graders who participated in solo/ensemble contest on March 9.  The group received ten i+ (highly superior), seven I's (excellent) and one II (good).  7th graders receiving a "I" rating: Karma Greenhagen-Johnson & Alexa Bedford, snare drum duet: Finley Spencer, alto sax solo: 7th graders receiving a I+:Makayla Snow, alto sax solo: Morgan Hawk, clarinet solo. 8th graders receiving I+:  Matthew Seals, alto sax solo:  Kjirsten Albertson, flute solo: Adam Dueker, trombone solo. Two Outstanding Performer awards were also presented:  Matthew Seals on his alto sax solo and 6th graders: Brilee Hatfield & Olivia Hathcock for their flute duet.  Five 6th grade events received a "I" rating, five received a "I+" and one 6th grader received a "II" rating.
  • Iowa Central College Thursday, March 14th @ 1:30 
  • Variety Show is March 23rd! The theme for this program is Blast To The Past.  Sign up outside Mr. Richardson's room ASAP. I know it is short notice, but we need to have everyone signed up by the end of the week. Be prepared to perform your act for Mr. Richardson in 2 weeks. Singing, dancing, magic, juggling, whatever your talent.
  • Mardi Gras Trivia Night (

    Class of 2021).  When: Friday, March 15th, Registration: 6:00-6:30, Start Time: 7:00, Where: Moravia Multi-Purpose, Game: Consists of 10 rounds of 10 questions per round with the team working on answering the questions together.  Teams: Teams will consist of up to 6 players per team of any age.  Cost: $50.00 if you register your team before Wednesday, March 13th.  $60.00 if you register after March 13th or at the door.  To register early or if you have any questions you can contact Denny Whitlow at 641-895-4643 or e-mail him at, Prize: $100 to the winning team.  Concessions: The class will be selling pop and water and having a bake sale but teams can bring food or snacks for their table to enjoy throughout the evening.  The class will also have a silent auction on a garden basket and a grill basket.  All proceeds will go to the class of 2021 to help with class projects.
