  • Tomorrow is the National Honor Society Induction at 3:00.  We will be dismissed by intercom.
  • Thursday of this week is School to Work Interview Day.  Please leave the front row of parking open on Thursday for our visitors.  We appreciate the kind gesture and they will too.
  • Senior Spring plant sales are due this Wednesday
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the 6, 7, and 8th grade band students for their great performances on Sat., March 10!  Moravia held a solo/ensemble contest for our own students in the band room.  Students played a solo or duet and received comments and a rating of I+ (highly superior), I (excellent), II (good) and III (fair).  13 solos/duets received a I+ and 5 solos/duet received a I!  Great job everyone!
  • Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday night after school.  Please bring your parent and stop by and visit with your teachers.  This will be the last Conference for this school year.
  • Friday, we will be dismissing students at 1:00 for Staff Development.
  • Moravia FFA Members participated at SC District FFA Convention on March 10, 2018. Members displayed their knowledge and learned how they can improve throughout the day. Greenhand Quiz Team received Silver, Treasurer's Book received Bronze, Chapter Website received Gold, Welding received Gold. Members in attendance also presented a Moravia FFA Jacket to Cassie Bond, Iowa FFA State VP-SC District, to be displayed at the FFA Booth in the Ag Building at Iowa State Fair, look for it this summer. Congratulations to Moravia FFA on a successful SC District Convention. 
  • The Freshman Class have scheduled a Trivia Game Night on St. Patrick's Day evening as a fundraiser.  Get your team signed up and polish up your Trivia skills.  There already are some Alumni planning on making a clean sweep.  Sign up and give them a run for their money!  Sign up with Mr. Whitlow TODAY!
  • Golf students should take the bus out to the Resort today until other transportations can be arranged.
  • Opt Out Attendance has started.  You can not have more than 3 absences except for school absences to be eligible to opt out of Semester tests.  Also- NO CELL PHONE VIOLATIONS will be added to the criteria, starting with yesterday's date.
  • Spring Pictures are March 14th.  Sign up in the office if you are planning on getting them taken. There is an information sheet on the front counter as well.
  • The Winter Athletic Banquet is scheduled for March 13th starting at 6pm in the multipurpose room.   It will be a potluck supper and everyone should bring their own table service. Everyone needs to bring a hot dish. Girls Basketball players will also bring a side dish. Boys Basketball and Wrestlers will also bring a desert. All Cheerleaders will bring drinks.
  • The Moravia Band will be sponsoring a Donkey Basketball game on Tuesday, March 27.  It will be in the old gym and start at 7:00 p.m. 
  • End of 3rd Qtr is TODAY.  Please have all of your work caught up and turned in to be eligible.
  • REMINDER!!!!  All freshman should be parking in the gravel parking lot.  Not complying will result in a detention.
