  • If you are planning on riding the Pep Bus tomorrow to the Montezuma to support the Lady Mohawks, you must have your $2 paid by today and get signed up at the office.  Bus will leave tomorrow at 5:15.
  • Congratulations Mohawk Speech Team!  Everyone performed well, and as a group, the team brought home 5 outstandings: Logan Perry for Original Oratory, Jordan Howe for Original Oratory, Kethryn Eyheralde for Literary Program and Radio News, and Madeleine Robinson for Poetry!  Other division Is were Emma McDanel for storytelling, Logan Perry for Spontaneous Speaking, Jordan Howe in Spontaneous Speaking. 
  • From February 8 - 26 students in grades 3 -12 will be participating in the Read to Feed program through International Heifer. Packets about the event and sample rewards are available in the high school and elementary libraries. For more information, go to heifer.org or contact Kethryn Eyheralde.
  • Inspiration, is performing in the Old Gym today for the Elementary at 1:30 pm which is during 6th hour today. The performance will be less than 20 minutes.  This Saturday the group performs at the Indianola Encounter at 10:20 AM. If you are able to come and support them I know they would be overjoyed to see you there! The front two rows are always reserved for students/parents of the performing team.
  • Speech members need to try to find times with my increasingly busy schedule to come in for practice.  Next meet is February 27
     in Fairfield.
  • Briar and Nick have won their first matches and Q lost his in OT.  Quinton will wrestle back shortly.
