Today's Lunch:  Little Smokies, Potato Casserole, Squash, Salad Bar, and Milk.  
Tomorrow's Lunch:  Chicken Nuggets, Tri-Taters, Corn, Salad Bar, and Milk.
  • Ms. Johnson needs to see the Student Council officers today.
  • This Thursday, October 30, football pictures will be taken at 4:00.  Please dress in full football gear - including your football cleats - for a picture for the yearbook.  Individual pictures will also be taken.  There will be no cost or order form.  Pictures will be emailed if interested in purchasing on your own.  After pictures, all equipment will be checked in.  Each player is asked to bring $3 to cover the cost of pizza for a party afterwards.  The party will be in Mr. Poterek's room and the movie "Remember the Titans" will be showing.  Several parents will also provide drinks and desserts.  Students....DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT ON THURSDAY!
  • Tonight is the BGC Honor Choir concert at the Twin Cedars school.  Concert time is 7:00 p.m.
  • H.S. Football team- Please meet in the gym tomorrow after school to return your equipment.  Please make sure everything is clean.  
  • If you would like to ride the pep bus please sign up in the office.  Remember, If your name is on the list and you DON"T SHOW UP TO RIDE, it could affect eligibility to any future events.
  • If you would like to order State Cross Country shirts to support Emily Warren as she competes, pick up an order form at the office.  ALL ORDER FORMS AND MONEY MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN TODAY.
  • The band (grades 6-11) will be selling Butter Braids Oct. 27-Nov. 10.  These are frozen pastry doughs that you thaw, let rise and bake.  They come in a variety of flavors.  Delivery will be Dec. 15, just in time for Christmas!  If a band student doesn't contact you and you are interested in buying on, please see Mrs. Nelson.  Proceeds will go towards the band trip.
  • Please wear pink tomorrow to support Breast Cancer Awareness and donate $1.00 at the office or see a Mohawk Voices member.  SHOW YOUR SUPPORT TO A CANCER SURVIVOR.
  • The Moravia Band will be busing tables, sweeping floors etc.  at the Pizza Ranch in Ottumwa on Nov. 3 from 5:00-8:00.  Please come and eat, put your receipt and tip in the tip bucket!!!!!  All proceeds will go towards the Washington D.C. trip of 2015.  Thanks for your support!
  • Brain Bowl practice is Thursday at 6:00 in Ms. Johnson's room.  All team members who plan to compete on Nov. 15 need to let Ms. J know by Tuesday so the entry form can be sent.  Also, before you register to compete you must have the signature page returned.
  • GIRLS- No Yoga pant unless top covers mid-thigh.
  • Attention students - Mohawk Voices is promoting Breast Cancer Awareness by asking on students to wear PINK on Tuesday, October 28.  We are also asking you to donate $1 and this money will stay in Appanoose county and help support women who are battling this terrible cancer.  We would really appreciate it if everyone would participate.
