Today's Lunch:   Popcorn Chicken, Tater Tots, Mixed Veggies, Salad Bar, and Milk.

Tomorrow's Lunch:  Goulash, Peas, Breadsticks, Salad Bar, and Milk.

  • JOSTENS will be here on Monday morning for Sophomore Class Ring Presentations and Seniors Graduation Announcement Presentations.  Our plan will be to go to Mr. Garmon's room.  We will port any changes.
  • School will be dismissed today at 2:30.  We will be running a 2:30 dismissal schedule.
  • ALL STUDENTS PK-12th must leave the building today at 2:30.  No Pass to Success, Detentions, or any athletic or music practices or lessons.
  • Thursday, Oct. 4 is Senior Night for volleyball. Come out and show your support for Emily Johnson and Lauren Perry.
  • Thursday, Oct. 4 volleyball match is a Pink Out to raise awareness for breast cancer.
  • The Lady Mohawks volleyball team is hosting a soup supper and silent auction Thursday, Oct. 4 for breast cancer awareness month. The soup supper/silent auction starts at 5:00 and all funds raised will be donated to a Moravia community family that is affected by cancer.
  • There will be a HS Boys Basketball meeting Thursday after school in the Old Gym..
  • There will be NO JH FOOTBALL practice today after school.
  • Band students, in grades 6-10, will be selling Butter Braids Oct. 2-16.  These make a wonderful addition to your Thanksgiving and Christmas meals!  They will be delivered before Thanksgiving.  If you're interested, and not contacted by a band student, please talk to Mrs. Nelson.
  • The Yearbooks will be delivered around Thanksgiving this year.  Please be patient, they WILL be coming soon.
  • Seniors: Central College representative  - October 9 at 2 p.m.  Sign up with Mrs. Cloyed.
  • Seniors: Graceland University visit October 25th at 9 a.m. Sign up on Mrs. Cloyed's door.
  • Seniors:  Iowa Central College rep visit -Tuesday, October 2nd @ 2:00    Sign up with Mrs. Cloyed.
  • Seniors: UNI visit October 15 at 10 a.m.  Sign up with Mrs. Cloyed if you are interested.
  • The Marching Mohawks will be participating in the Oktoberfest Parade in Ottumwa on Saturday, Oct. 6.  The parade begins at 10:00.  The route will be through downtown Ottumwa.  The drumline will compete in the Jimmy Jones Shelter House at 1:00.  If you're looking for a GOOD TIME!  come to the drumline competition!  Parade winner will be announced after the drumlines perform.  Come support your Marching Mohawks!!!!
