Student Job Opportunities - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rathbun Lake - DEADLINE TO APPLY March 3rd (UNCLASSIFIED)

For those interested in applying to work at Rathbun Lake for the summer of 2014, two student employment positions are now posted at

-One position is a Student Trainee (General) (Park Ranger) - *note, there are two announcements with different pay scales for the Park Ranger position. Apply for both, applicant qualifications will determine the final pay scale for this position

-One position is a Student Trainee (General Labor Worker) - *note, only one pay scale for this position

The desired time frame to start full-time for both positions will be immediately following the last day of school / classes

The Student Trainee Park Ranger Position will work weekdays for the first few weeks, but will transition to weekend work alongside Permanent staff

The Student Trainee General Labor Worker will work Monday through Friday, with a few exceptions of working overtime on a weekends if the need arises

We are looking for interested students currently enrolled in either High School or College (ages 16 years or older), in good academic standing with a GPA 2.0 on 4.0 scale, and must have a valid driver's license

The process to apply is automated. Interested students will need to create an account in USAJOBS, build or load a resume, and their most recent transcripts.

Students interested in applying will simply locate the job announcement and click the tab to apply for consideration to be selected.

The USAJOBS web site explains everything regarding the process to build or save a resume. However, we are available to assist with this process.
